Maurer Rose
Math is the universal language of nature. Math always charms me. In this Maurer Rose experiment, I connected the parameters of the formula generating various rose patterns with the Audio features. The result is delightful.
Cellular Automata
A discreet, computational model which have proved as a useful representation of general models and dynamic behavior of a system. A Cellular Automaton is a system of "cells" with some temporal and spatial rules to enable or disable a cell.
Physarum
Physarum polycephalum is a unicellular multinucleate organism.
An agent or organism move in the space:
(1) to search a maximal area
(2) to optimize transport distance.
This explains the tantalizing behavior of growth, movement and area reduction.

Galaxy
Space is beautiful at every scale of observation. Galaxies are one such celestial entity. Complex yet in order. I used Unity's VFX Graph to build cosmic visual effects which are connected with the features of audio.

These explorations are the outcome of the style research for an ongoing project about Lyme disease. The immersive documentary features the story of Vicki Logan, an inspiration and a critical patient in the history of Lyme disease research. Visual representation of Vicki Logan was a challenge in itself. One thing we knew was about not using digital waveforms or a soul of the past. She was a human being.

For these experiments, I developed a tool in Unity to bind the parameters to the VFX graph and other properties of the gameobject. It is open-source and available for anyone to use or contribute on GitHub.
